Trying

Hailey is trying to crawl...she hasn't been too successful yet. Really she just rocks back and forth, but it's fun to watch her learning! Honestly (watching little Camryn Kirksey) I'm not all that excited about her learning to crawl, or growing up for that matter, because that means she'll be more independent of us...But for now she is still stuck where we left her! LOL (insert wicked laugh here!)

All I can say is that Hailey is certainly trying! Oh, and she can roll over now too! We finally understand what Molly was saying when she commented on Malachi ending up on the wrong side of the crib after he learned to roll over!

Noah's Ark Baby

I love this picture of Hailey!! I can't put my finger on why, but I think it's soooo cute!! She is going to be just like her Auntie Laurie (or Auntie Mandie for that matter), bringing home every critter she finds walking on the side of the road (the kitty), jumping in the gutter (the froggie), swinging by the school (the monkey), bathing in the pond (the elephant), or chewing on our roof (the giraffe)! I just know it!!

For those of you who don't know Hailey is signing "food/eat" in ASL...
Or maybe mommy snapped the camera at exactly the perfect moment to make it look like we have a child genious! Or maybe we do...guess you'll never know!

Insert Western music here...
The standoff between Hailey and Gracie (that's the cat!)

Bathroom Baby

I am happy to say that Hailey has brought out the girly girl in me...
Mommy's earring collection is an obvious magnet for a little girl!
So, here is a little montage of Hailey's visit to mommy's bathroom!

She already has a teenager perspective of herself...
it's all about her, and she's cute too!

I always knew Hailey was small, but this is ridiculous! She totally fits in our sink!!
And yes it's always that clean! ;-)

Chewing on mommy's hair clip...shoot if she had more hair it would probably be in it!

Hailey Bay or Bailey Hay if you're dyslexic!

Hailey didn't like her bouncer at first...

But she gave it some thought...

And decided it wasn't half bad...tasting!

Ha Ha school pictures!

Just thought if you were in need of a laugh today...

School pictures never get easier to take, and when you don't know they are coming they are even more fun!

Yeah...

New website!

So you all know how much I love scrapbooking...well I think I am even more in love with webbooking (my own (I think) creative word for scrapbooking on the web)!! There's no glue, cutting, or crooked lines! So for my fellow webbookers I must introduce you to a new website I learned about this week at work. It's called wordle and it creates word collages...another one of my favorite things!! I will be using this for a long time, and I might even get some of them printed and framed! You can visit wordle at http://www.wordle.net/

Some tips for making your wordle even more special:
Enlarging words: repeat the word several times in your post
Strings of words: connect each word with a hypen (-)

Aladdin

Hailey watched her first Disney movie this weekend...or it was on and she just happened to also be in the room while it played! She didn't really watch it, but I am happy to say her first movie was multi-cultural and ethnic. Very important things to John and I... ;-) Honestly, Aladdin was my favorite movie as a girl, next to Sleeping Beauty and Lion King!

Thanks to Disney and Wikipedia for the picture...

I just left a meeting about copyright laws at school...

so I'm not messing around with that drama!!
